Works fine as teether, not toothbrush

I got this for my son starting at 6 months only. It’s been a few months and while it works as a teether toy, it doesn’t really brush his teeth well. I thought the silicone bristles seemed like a good idea, I think they’re good for brushing gums maybe but it doesn’t seem sufficient for brushing teeth. I would recommend just going to a baby toothbrush with regular bristles.

Kiddo loves baby brush, 1yr brush very stiff bristled

Got this for our 10 month old at the time. He loves to try to brush himself, and easy enough for us to use on him when he’s not fighting it. The 1 yr brush is very stiff bristled and definitely hurt his gums the first time we tried using it and his teeth are still so small.

    Baby loves it!

My daughter has been screaming/crying and resisting every time I brush her teeth with the brush I have, so I decided I need a new toothbrush-found this and ordered it. Just got it today so have only used it (the 6m+ one) once but she didn’t cry/scream at all and seemed like she actually liked it. Will try to update my review later on (if I remember) but I’m happy with it so far!

    Used with all 3 kids

Great starter toothbrush. Soft enough for sensitive gums of teething babies. The only issue I’ve had is that the brush head is a little thin, so if baby decides to bite down hard, it means finger pain for me

Nice toothbrush for new teeth and massaging gums

Durable and nice product for my little one. She enjoyed them and she stayed engaged with them. They handle cleanings well and aren’t outrageously priced.

    Baby loves both!

My nine month old has two teeth and really enjoys both. The soft bristle brush took a little work for him to warm up to, but if he holds it himself he’s okay with it, and now loves brushing it on his lower front teeth.Only complaints:1.) The guard comes off pretty easily, but it’s not a deal breaker. We stopped using it and it’s been okay at his age.2.) The suction bottom is a great feature, but I wish the soft bristle brush had a hole in the handle so I could attach it using pacifier clips, since everything ends up on the floor!3.) A nice-to-have would be a case for taking this on the go.Overall, I love these, my baby loves these, I and will buy more when these wear out!! They would also make a great gift…no one ever thinks ab toothbrushes and I wish I would have had these sooner.I’m also using Brushies (cute finger brushes) to reach further back in his mouth. It’s nice to have different options and brushes in the different places we feed him.

Use the rubber one for no teeth. Skip the bristle one.

The one without bristles is nice to train your baby without teeth to get used to brushing their teeth but the one with bristles is really rough. My baby didn’t like the way it felt. I just switched to a regular child’s toothbrush and it went way better.

    The best baby toothbrush!

I recently purchased the Frida Baby Training Toothbrush for my one-year-old and I am extremely satisfied with this product. This training toothbrush is designed to help introduce your baby to oral care and establish healthy habits early on, and it does exactly that! The soft silicone bristles of the toothbrush are gentle on my baby’s gums and teeth, and the small brush head is perfect for tiny mouths. It’s also easy to grip, so my little one can hold onto it and practice brushing on their own. What I love most about this toothbrush is the unique double-sided design. One side is perfect for gently cleaning teeth and massaging gums, while the other side has a nubby texture that is great for soothing teething gums. It’s like having two products in one!The product is also very easy to clean and sanitize. It’s dishwasher safe and can be boiled or sterilized in a microwave, making it perfect for busy parents who want a hassle-free oral care solution for their little ones.Overall, I highly recommend the Frida Baby Training Toothbrush for Babies with Soft Silicone Bristles to any parent looking for a gentle and effective way to introduce their baby to oral care. It’s a high-quality product that’s both functional and fun, and it’s sure to make oral care a positive experience for your little one.

Helps as much as it can haha.

Let’s just say, I have a toddler, nothing will truly help with the teeth brushing process… however, this toothbrush does make it easier than a regular toothbrush. It’s still a battle… but again. That’s not the toothbrush.Overall, the bristles are a good softness, and a good size for her little teeth. The brush itself is large enough to brush over both the front and back of her teeth at once, so there is no need for awkward angles while wresting your child.I’d purchase it again.

Makes Quick Work of Brushing Little One’s Teeth

I love the three sided soft bristle design. My little one does not like having her teeth/gums brushed so this makes fast work of it. It’s easy for me to hold and will be easy for her to hold when she’s older. I didn’t understand what the white removeable part was at first, but it makes for a great stand so the brush portion doesn’t have to rest on the countertop. The only reason I’m not giving this 5 stars is because it can be challenging to remove all the toothpaste from between the bristle every night. Will be buying this again.

    Best Toothbrush for teethers

My boy has been using this Toothbrush for over 2 months now and he loves it. Since he’s teething, he loves to chew on it. I load it up with his toothpaste and hand him his brush, he happily brushes away while I brush my teeth as well. It’s easy enough for him to manipulate. It’s also easily cleaned and sterilized if he drops it on the floor. It’s a big part of our bedtime routine and he fusses until he gets to brush his teeth.

    eh

i heard good things about a baby toothbrush like this but in my opinion, the top that actually touches the teeth is far too wide. so there is no way each side is actually touching my baby’s whole tooth like it shows it should

    Easy for baby to hold

Since my 7 month old got her teeth, we’ve been brushing her teeth. This is easy for her to hold herself while we navigate her hands to push to brush her teeth and gums. It also covers both sides front and back.

    Great toothbrush

I was skeptical that my baby would like brushing her teeth but she loves this toothbrush. I started her on it around one and modeled toothbrushing before using it on her. She was accepting of me brushing her teeth at first and then quickly started to do it herself. It’s hard to get her to let go of it!

    Not bad!

These don’t really work super well for us but I can see how it would work for others. It’s already hard enough to get in my sons mouth – so to have to get the toothbrush around his teeth is tricky. It definitely works better for teething over teeth brushing.

My 9mo favorite toothbrush! He loved that he can hold it himself and isn’t deterred by the soft silicone like he is with bristles. Perfect to practice teeth brushing routines and promote fine motor skill development!

Great concept, but the bristles are way too hard.

This seemed like the perfect solution to transition our toddler from us brushing his teeth to him doing it himself. He seemed to be okay with it at first, but now he almost refuses to brush and we believe it’s because the bristles are too hard and hurting his gums. Beware if that’s an issue for your child!

    I don’t love it but I don’t hate it

Maybe I’m not the biggest fan of this toothbrush because I’m using it on an 11 month old. I just thought he might let me brush his teeth better if I used this versus his regular toothbrush. So far he fights me and resists me the same. And I’m not sure if I’m using it in the most accurate way. I almost only left 3 stars but realized that’s not fair when most of the issues are probably from me, not the product. I was just hoping to get a good brush in but have failed so far.

We had previously been using the FridaMom finger brush toothbrush for our little one but I got sick of it slipping off of my finger every time I brushed her teeth. We just transitioned to this one and I love it way more. I find it easier to control where I am brushing and I like that she can hold onto the handle at the same time as well. Also happy with the white piece that prevents the toothbrush from hitting germy surfaces!

Good brush that prevents baby biting you.

My baby always preferred a rag or my finger in his mouth to clean his teeth. He never took to normal toothbrushes. However once he started getting teeth he started to write down some me using a rag became difficult. I am so glad I purchased this finger brush because you can angle it in a way that the baby can’t bite you. It’ll last for a long time and it gets my baby’s teeth nice and white. I want definitely by again. Also it is bpa free and it is silicone so it is safe for a baby of any age. Started using it at 6 months and hes over a year now and I still use this brush.

Great Toothbrush Set as your child gets older!

We love the Grow with me toothbrush set as we first used it on my son who is now 28 months old. This set is great as we use the infant brush for our younger baby girl and use the 3 sided toothbrush (with non-fluoride toothbrush) on our son. I love the three sided toothbrush as it makes brushing his teeth really easy and it ensure we brush all three sides of his teeth. It took my son a little bit to get used to it but now it is really easy to brush this teeth (and he cooperates). We plan to buy the 3 sided toothbrush one every few months going forward (until he gets used to a regular toothbrush.

    Great first tooth brush

We’ve only been using the stage one tooth brush and it’s super easy to use. My son loves using it as a teether as well so once I’m done I’ll let him at it. I like that the stopper also props the brush up so it’s not laying directly on the counter.

Thank God for Easy Grip Handle

After trying several other brands’ toothbrushes, what a relief to finally find one with an advertised “easy grip handle”. The Dr. Brown’s toothbrush appears to be made of broken glass shards. Munchkin brand’s handle was covered in motor oil. The Colgate baby toothbrush was cute in that it was shaped like a porcupine, but the handle was made of real porcupine quills. Thankfully, the engineers finally figured out how to make something for a human hand to hold so that I can brush my baby’s teeth.

    Has potential but…

The angle is difficult for her to understand how to use it correctly plus guard comes off easily so my kid just took it off and chewed on that, hated the silicone brush, prefers the one with bristles but would rather chew and play with the suction end.

    It’s Okay – Nothing Special

I love my Frida Nose Sucker, but this toothbrush isn’t really anything special. I use it sometimes, but my 9 month old daughter really likes having her teeth brushed with just a regular small soft bristle toothbrush. She actually giggles and opens her mouth wide to have her teeth brushed with that. With this, she just wants to chew on it like a teether, which it clearly states it is not.

    GREAT Training Toothbrush!

This training toothbrush is a must have! My son loves how it feels as I massage his tender gums with it. When I first placed this toothbrush in his mouth, he didn’t know what to think. However, as I started massaging his gums with it, he sat still and allowed me to do it! The bristle head of this training toothbrush is angle to reach both sides of his gums/teeth. That’s a plus because it massages/cleans both sides of his gums at the same time. The tear drop shape of this toothbrush also makes it really easy for my baby to hold. I also enjoy the stopper that is included, it prevents me from pushing the toothbrush too far into his mouth. The stopper is also really good for propping up the toothbrush when I set it down. This prevents it from touching any surfaces. I really enjoyed using this toothbrush. My baby really enjoys it as well! We LOVE IT!
